As 2024 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on the memories, triumphs, and heartaches that made this year one for the books. It’s hard to put into words the depth of gratitude I feel for all the moments that shaped the past 12 months—but let’s give it a try.
This year has been nothing short of transformational. From establishing new wholesale accounts and sharing the story of Be Love Organic Skincare, to hosting heartfelt gatherings at Gypsy Meadows, every moment has been a thread in the tapestry of this year. The connections made at pop-ups and vendor markets—hearing your stories, learning what you love, and sharing laughs—have been some of my greatest joys. At the Meadows, we welcomed friends old and new for events and classes, each one leaving behind a touch of magic.
This year also brought personal adventures that filled my soul. I took an inspiring trip to Bali for my 50th birthday, a place that felt like a dream come to life. I hit the road with my best friend for an unforgettable weekend road trip from Jersey to Miami, and attended incredible concerts by Kenny Chesney, James Taylor, The Lowest of the Low, Blue Rodeo, Indigo Girls, and my favorite local band, The Strictly Hip. I celebrated friends and family as they reached milestones—moments that reminded me of the joy in connection and community.
But let’s be real: it wasn’t all sunshine and calendula. There was heartbreak and loss, the kind that cracks you open and lets the light in. Those moments, as painful as they were, reminded me of the beauty in being human—the highs, the lows, and everything in between.
From the garden to the formulation studio, 2024 brought exciting launches. We introduced new products, and the love and support from the Be Love tribe was overwhelming in the best way possible. You’ve shared stories of how these creations have transformed your skin, and more importantly, how they’ve helped you see yourself in a new light. That’s why I do this—for you. Your kind words, encouragement, and loyalty fill my heart more than I can say.
Personal goals for me this year include; being healthier, more present, and more purposeful. I’m about to begin yoga teacher training and explore other healing modalities that have been calling to me. I’m excited about the coming year and all the possibilities it holds.
As we step into 2025, I wanted to share a few practices that I’m carrying with me into the new year—simple habits that bring peace, joy, and laughter into each day. First, I’m going to make it a point to take a morning pause, just five minutes before the world rushes in. I’ll breathe deeply, sip my coffee slowly, or simply sit in stillness, and let that quiet moment set the tone for the day.
I’m also committing to savor the small things. Sometimes joy isn’t found in the big, shiny moments but in the simple, everyday ones—the giggle of a child, the warmth of my favorite sweater, watching Tucker play with his toys, or the quiet peace of a snowy morning. I want to be more present for those.
Staying connected is another priority for me. Whether it’s a quick call, a heartfelt text, or a spontaneous visit, I’m learning that these little acts of connection can bring unexpected delight and keep me grounded in what truly matters.
Moving with intention will also be a big focus. Whether I’m practicing yoga, dancing around the kitchen, or taking a brisk walk through the woods, moving my body with purpose has a way of clearing my mind and recharging my spirit.
Finally, I’m making gratitude a daily practice. Each morning, I plan to jot down three things I’m thankful for. It’s amazing how this simple act can shift your perspective and help you stay focused on the good, even when life gets tough.
When I need inspiration or a bit of grounding, I turn to a few trusted resources. Mel Robbins offers powerful mindset shifts and practices for building confidence, while Gabrielle Bernstein provides spiritual guidance and affirmations. Citadel Clarity is great for mindfulness and achieving balance, and Insight Timer has free meditations and grounding exercises. For more personal growth and reflection, Tiny Buddha has a wealth of articles, quotes, and exercises to explore.
Finally, a few quick tips for glowing skin as we head into 2025: Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. Your skin thrives on moisture, both inside and out. Drink plenty of water and lock in hydration with nourishing products like our Rose + Calendula Hyaluronic Acid Serum. When it comes to cleansing, skip the harsh products—our Goat Milk Soaps are gentle and keep your skin’s natural oils intact. Consistency is key with skincare, so stick to what works for you, and as the seasons shift, make sure to protect your skin’s barrier with plant-based oils and butters. Try our Botanical Balm and Whipped Body Butter to keep your skin soft and nourished.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me. Here’s to a beautiful year ahead, filled with love, growth, and glowing skin.
