Painting and Printing and Dyeing meets Hammers! So happy to have our friend and renowned fiber artist Tami Fuller of Blubird Studio with us again as she guides students to express natural dye compounds found in the petals and stems of flowering plants and vines and imprint them onto pre-mordanted fabric for an organically “dyed” tapestry piece in a practice commonly referred to as “Flower Pounding.” Imprint blossoms into fabric using nothing but fresh blooms and greenery and a household hammer. A perfect celebration of harvest season.
